When pondering what to name my practice, I realized I wanted it to embody me as both a person and clinician. My passion is working with people and guiding them towards making change, making peace, and becoming whole again (Healing).
As some may say “integrated care,” I prefer to say connection/coordination of the mind and body. Being aware of the Mind-Body connection can improve your quality of life. Your emotional state (fear, love, hate) as well as your thoughts can affect your physical well-being (headaches, back aches, stomach concerns) and vice versa, It’s a vicious cycle. The mental, physical, and emotional well-being as well as the environment are all interconnected in the healing process, thus Healing Mind and Body Counseling was born.
